Ben Flores is an Alabama native who has lived in Columbus since 2021. He joined Chapman’s Eat Market the same year and is now the sous chef. He has an Italian-American and Mexican-American background. His food represents the intersection of Southern, Italian and Mexican cuisines. After graduating from the University of Alabama in 2015, he pursued a career in restaurant and hospitality management. His personal goals in the industry focus on the training and development of young chefs.
