Matthew Harding is Director of Culinary/Corporate Executive Chef at Piada Italian Street Food in Columbus Ohio. He has a career spanning over 35 + years in the industry, working both front and back of the house positions over his career. He attended the Prestigious Culinary Institute of America. Matt has worked for the in Washington DC for the InterContinental Hotel group, in San Francisco California at Campton Place, where, during his tenure it was named the best hotel restaurant in America. He then moved to Kimpton Hotel Groups first free-standing restaurant, Splendido, a Mediterranean restaurant with focus on hyper local, high quality ingredients.
Matt then took time to travel and experience the cuisines of 26 countries of the European, Eastern Mediterranean and African Continents. Upon return Mr. Harding settled in Columbus Ohio where he held the executive chef position at Lindey’s and achieved status of being voted best restaurant in Columbus. In 2009 Matt opened the first Brio Tuscan Grill for Bravo Brio Restaurant Group and served as the lead developer for the next 6 restaurants. In 2001 he was promoted to Corporate Chef with BBRG and also served as the President for the 3 Non-Italian brands. In September of 2014 Matt left BBRG after 20 years. He currently holds the title of Director of Culinary/ Corporate Executive Chef at Piada Italian Street Food.
